Note of Gratitude to Two Dear Friends:

Henri Nouwen said “A friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing… not healing, not curing… that is a friend that cares”.

God has blessed with me with two such friends: Mark Tiborsky and Robert van der Laan – Clement. Mark was George’s best friend since third grade at Lincoln Elementary School in Euclid Ohio. When I contacted Mark about George’s passing and I shared my ideas about how I planned to commemorate George, Mark’s only question was how he could help. And help he did. He was the sole source of the remastered songs he composed with George and later, the songs George composed at UCCM. Mark’s life like everyone’s is full. He didn’t have spare hours, days and weeks that he spent remastering the music that is on this site while fielding countless questions from me. But the entire Wright family will always be grateful for his efforts. Once the extent of his work is known, he will receive even more gratitude from all that visit this site and hear the music, knowing that George had a kindred soul who shared much of his life.

Robert, though he never met George, has worked with me for several years on various projects, including this one, a site commemorating George’s life. Robert has asked for little but given much. Though he hails from Amsterdam, his desire to help has been invaluable. His creative vision has resulted in several critical aspects of this site, but exactly like Mark, his primary question was how he could help. Robert stayed focused on the goal of honoring George and like Mark, once the extent of his efforts are understood, all who visit this site will appreciate his creative vision in photography and website builds.

Though God has blessed me with me with many great and loving friends, this site wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t mention the two special souls who helped make it happen and helped me ensure George’s accomplishments will last forever.

Sincere thanks and gratitude Mark & Robert,

Craig
