I met George in the classical guitar department at CCM. I remember that he always had a smile on his face, and that he was wicked funny. I also remember his tremendous musical talent. Rest In Peace, my friend. You are missed.

Though I had not seen my dear friend George in person for 26 years, he was and will remain a big part of my life. As we were good friends since the 1st grade, we spent a whole lot of time together in our younger days. In recent years, I felt as if George was right alongside me while I immersed myself in tapes of music we had composed together decades ago. I am so happy that he got to hear the majority of our remastered music, and that he was very pleased with it. But our relationship over the years was not just musical - I do believe that I laughed harder with George than anyone else in my entire life! And we had many interesting intellectual discussions as well. Dear George, thank you for all the music, fun, and food for thought... You will be forever missed.

I don't cry for thee, I'm the sunlight sparkling on the grains of wheat I'm the cool ocean breeze in the summer's dense heat. I'm as free as the wind that makes the leaves quiver And as alive as the water that rushes down the river.
